Sary-Chelek Lake is situated at Jalal-Abad Region (at 1,873 m asl), Western Part of Kyrgyzstan at the territory of Sary-Chelek Nature Reserve. Sary-Chelek (“Yellow Bucket” from Kyrgyz) is the main lake and one of the seven lakes in the area of Chatkal Mountain Ranges. Lake width from 350 m to 1500 m, the deepest point is 234 m. The area is protected thus here are the rich species of plants and animals. Sary-Chelek honey is very popular and one of the best honey in Kyrgyzstan

TRIP ITINERARY
Bishkek-Kyzyl-Kol village-Kara-Kamysh lake-Sary-Chelek lake-Arkyt village-Bishkek
Day 1
May 31
Morning transfer to Kyzyl-Kol village, via Too-Ashuu pass, Suusamyr valley, Chychkan gorge. Have a lunch at café in Chychkan gorge. Upon arrival to guest house in Kyzyl-Kol village, free time before the dinner. B&B at guest house.
Day 2
June 1
Morning transfer to Kara-Kamysh lake, where Festival take place. Today you will take a participation in Nomad Games Festival. Lunch will be during the fest. Dinner and overnight will be at yurt camp, near the lake.
Day 3
June 2
After breakfast today will be hiking day over the Sary-Chelek Biosphere park. From Kara-Kamysh lake you will trek up to Kotormo pass, then trek down to Iri-Kol lake, where you will have a picnic lunch. After lunch make a round trip 4 small mountains lakes, by the end of the trek we will reach Sary-Chelek lake. Car will pick up you and transfer to guest house in Arkyt village. Dinner and B&B at guest house.

June 3
Transfer to Bishkek.
