Itinerary: Turaa Suu village – Kol-Bel Jailoo – Tosor Ashuu pass (3900m) – Uch Emchek valley – Barskoon
Day 1: Our drivers will pick you up and bring you to Turaa-Suu village which is the startpoint of our tour. If you’ve chosen horseback riding, then your horses will already be waiting here for you. This first day of our tour we spend passing the beautiful Kol-Bel jailoo (summer pasture) with many shepherds living there. You will have the chance to see all their animals including yaks, as well as wild animals. We spend the night on this jailoo.
Day 2: Today we continue and leave Kol-Bel jailoo and head for our main goal: Tosor Ashuu pass. On the way we pass many small mountains, which means that this will be a quite exhausting day for us. But the beautiful landscape makes up for this. We spend the night before reaching Tosor Ashuu pass.
Day 3: After having our breakfast we go straight for Tosor-Ashuu pass which is located on almost 4000m altitude. From the pass we will have a beautiful view on both Issyk-Kul Lake and the surrounding mountains. We ascend from the pass on our rocky route and you can see glaciers, maybe eagles or other wild animals. We enter Uch Emchek valley today where we spend the night.
Day 4: We continue our way through Uch Emchek valley. This valley is full of small waterfalls, lakes and streams. Today we will have enough time to rest and enjoy the beautiful nature. We will be ascending the whole day and in the afternoon entering Barskoon gorge, where our drivers will already be waiting to bring us back to Bokonbaevo.
