Day 1: Early morning arrival at Manas International Airport. Transfer to Bishkek. Hotel Accommodation. Free time in Bishkek.

Day 2: Early morning departure to Arslanbob Village (9-10 hour drive). On the way, pass the beautiful Suusamyr Valley, Chychkan Gorge and Toktogul Water Reservoir. Lunch en-route. Late evening arrival. Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 3: Spend a day in Arslanbob. Walks to the small and big waterfalls, to the panorama and through the walnut forests. Picnic lunch. Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 4: Morning departure to Osh (5-hour drive). On the way visit an 11th century architectural complex in Özgön. Arrival in Osh a town which is 3,000 years old. Afternoon city tour: visit the sacred Sulaiman-Too (Prophet Solomon’s mountain) and Osh bazaar, one of Central Asia’s largest open-air markets. Optional meals in a café serving Kyrgyz dishes. Bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 5: Depart for Kazarman Village (6-7 hour drive). Lunch en-route. Arrive in Kazarman – dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 6: Breakfast, early morning departure to Naryn (Kazarman-Naryn, 6-hour drive). Arrival by lunch time. Lunch in a café offering Kyrgyz cuisine. Afternoon relax in Naryn. Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 7: After breakfast, leave for Tash-Rabat caravanserai (Naryn–Tash-Rabat, about a 2.5-hour drive). Arrival by lunchtime. Lunch in a yurt, then explore the surroundings and visit the Tash-Rabat caravanserai built in the middle ages as a trade fortress on the Great Silk Road. Dine and sleep in a yurt.

Day 8: After breakfast in the yurt, transfer by car from Tash-Rabat to Naryn. Arrive in Naryn with lunch in a café offering Kyrgyz cuisine. Depart for Son-Köl Lake (5 hours drive). Afternoon arrival. Dinner, bed and breakfast in a CBT yurt.

Day 9: Spend a day relaxing at the lake-side. Watch and / or participate in the everyday life of shepherds: milking mares; making traditional Kyrgyz milk products like kymyz (a fermented mare’s milk) or airan (a sour, dense milk product); tending cattle. Meals and accommodation in a yurt.

Day 10: After breakfast transfer to Kochkor village (3 hours). Arrive in Kochkor. Afternoon — learn how “ala kiyiz” – Kyrgyz felt carpets – are made. Meals and accommodation at a home-stay.

Day 11: In the morning leave for the southern shore of the Yssyk-Köl area (Kochkor – Balykchy – Bokonbaevo Village, 3 hours). Arrive at the yurt camp and watch birds of prey. The local eagle hunters are considered to be among the best in the area. Meals and accommodation in a CBT yurt. Yurt stay.

Day 12: Breakfast, morning departure to Karakol (3 hours). On the way to Karakol, we visit the Jety-Ögüz Gorge (Seven Bulls) (30 km from main road). Walk and picnic in the Kök-Zhaiyk area, known as a “Valley of Flowers”. Afternoon arrival in Karakol, followed by a city tour: visit the Dungan Mosque and the Russian Orthodox Church. Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.
Optional Day 1: Morning transfer to the Ak-Suu Village (about 30 km). Start the trekking. Lunch-picnic on the way. Trek to the footsteps of the Ortok Pass. Camp in the tent near the Pass. Trekking time: 5-6 hours. Detailed description with the map is given below!
Optional Day 2: Hike through the Ortok Pass, 3560 m. Amazing views of the valley, and the small beautiful mountain lakes. Lunch after descend. Walk to the Altyn-Arashan resort, which is situated 2450 m above sea level. Camp at this wonderful place which is surrounded by magnificent rocks and from where a lot of streams begin from the glaciers. A great panoramic view of the snow-capped Tashtanbek Tor Bashy (Peak Tashtanbek), 4600 m. Overnight is available in a mountain hut or in tents. Trekking time: 6-7 hours.
Optional Day 3: At the Altyn-Arashan resort is possible to take a thermal water bath. You will never be able to forget the sight of the snow on Peak Palatka (Tent) 5260 m or «Swallow’s Nest Pool», nestling beneath the open sky. After breakfast walk from Altyn Arashan resort down by Arashan Gorge (4 hours). Drive to Karakol (30 minutes). Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 13: After breakfast leave for Tamchy Village (some 4 hours from Karakol) via the northern lakeshore. On the way, we make a stop in Cholpon-Ata to visit the open-air petroglyph gallery (5km from the main road, heading to the mountains). Lunch on arrival in Tamchy. Dinner, bed and breakfast at a CBT home-stay.

Day 14: Leave for Bishkek (about a 4-hour drive). Visit the Burana Tower architectural complex (10th-11th century, an important point on the Great Silk Road) on the way (15km from the main road, 1 hour). Arrive in Bishkek. Hotel Accommodation.

Day 15: Transfer to the airport. Departure.
